Keep in mind even small projects can take on a life of their own. Not long ago my wife and I decided to replace the dated and well worn flooring in our kitchen. Before we knew it we were hip deep in a full blown kitchen remodel. While removing the existing flooring I discovered a plumbing leak had damaged the subfloor. To repair the subfloor and fix the plumbing leak I had to remove the cabinets. Removing the cabinets lead to removing and replacing the countertops. New countertops led to new appliances. You get the picture.
A relatively simple weekend-or-two project morphed into a three month adventure. After everything was said and done we had a brand new kitchen and best of all my wife loves it. It wasn't easy, it required a lot of work and at times it was stressful. But we did it. It looks amazing.
