Countertop Expectations

There is nothing more dissatisfying then not getting what you paid for.  Customer dissatisfaction happens when reality falls short of expectation. The three expectations that are the leading cause of dissatisfaction are assumed expectations, unrealistic expectations and unfulfilled expectations.

“I thought you’d take care of that.” is evidence of an assumption.  We make it our goal to provide you with both the product knowledge and the process knowledge you need to achieve your design objectives.  We clearly delineate what we need you do and what we will do.

Unrealistic expectations usually arise from insufficient knowledge of a product’s capabilities or not understanding the installation process. Solid Surface Designs will make you aware of all installation requirements for the material you choose for your new countertops.

Unrealized expectations appear when a customer’s clear instruction are ignored. We maintain a comprehensive packet of fabrication and installation paperwork and employ a computerized project management system to guarantee that your instructions are fully followed.

The secret to exceeding any customer’s expectation is communication. That means, we never assume, we ask probing questions and listen intently to your answers, we do our best to anticipate potential problems and offer sensible solutions.
